Miniature Horse Foals
Miniature horse foals should be obtained from responsible breeders, but ask to see the parents of the animals or at least their picture.
These animals belong to the same family as zebras, mules, and donkeys. Favorite food of these animals is short, juicy grass, but they also eat hey, especially in winter. Mini equines live longer than mount of large breeds; their average live span is 35-45 years.

Most mares give birth to a single child, but sometimes twins are born. Mares feed their babies with milk. In two hours after birth the young are able to stand up and walk.
